Al Fresco v.2

With Fall here, rainy and much cooler temperatures (50s/60s), we have mostly been using our side patio since it has an awning overhead.  While it’s only about 80 square feet, it’s big enough for the two of us.  Some time in October or November I will reinstall the “window wall” I built in 2009 – it acts as an excellent wind-break and still allows us to see the back yard.  As a short-term solution to make the side patio more comfortable, I added a cloth version that will suffice for now.  It is in the upper 50s with a brisk wind (23mph), but the cloth blocks the wind just fine.  With a fire going in the Chiminea, it’s pretty darn toasty – even in a t-shirt and shorts !  Dinner was an Antipasto Platter, a Friday staple.
