Pesto & Crab Pasta

I had some Crab Meat that was close to expiration, so I thought I would do something new – I usually use it for Crab Cakes but didn’t really want to MAKE Crab Cakes. As is often the case, something just “popped” into my head. I made a batch of Pesto with Basil & Cilantro, steamed the Crab and combined the two items. I prepared some Ditalini so the Pesto could work it’s way inside the “tube”. Both the heat from the steamed Crab and the Pasta melt the cheese in the Pesto, and temper the Garlic a bit – very rich but not over the top !
