Feeding the kids – MY way !

With Pam in Pittsburgh running a half marathon, we offered to watch Brenden and Marissa Saturday evening and Sunday until the afternoon. Cousin Kim joined us along with her kids Maglet and Gray Matter as well. We typically do not cater to children if they are able to eat grown-up foods – they should experience good food early ! Last night as we celebrated Yakov & Bertie’s last night in CLE, the kids and us had Three Cheese Tortellini Marinara topped with freshly grated Grana Padano, White Potatoes with Shallots & Wine-Butter Sauce, Goat Cheese Salad with Capers & Pine Nuts, and Fettunta. For breakfast, the kids had Fish Sticks seasoned with Aromatic Herbal Sea Salt, Garlic and fresh ground Pepper, and Mac N Cheese with extra Butter and Heavy Whipping Cream (how Francais !). What else would you expect with me charged to feed them ?
