Wild Weekend (of Food !)

Friday I made the Creamy Basil Pesto Tortellini again for some friends, this time with Mussels du jour, a Goat Cheese Salad and Fettunta.  Saturday we “catered” a Baby Shower for our friend Alysia and guests, feeding about 14.  We had Tomato & Roasted Red Pepper Bisque, Basil Pesto Potatoes, Shrimp Fra Diavolo, Lemon Pasta, a Cucumber-Onion-Tomato Salad with Balsamic Vinaigrette, and a few other dishes.  That was quite possibly my busiest day EVER in the kitchen.  Sunday we had 20+ over for our 10th Annual Father’s Day Cookout with Grilled Pork Tenderloin, Burgers & Brats, Basil Pesto Potato Salad, Corn and a Salad.  I have never made this much food in one weekend, but it was enjoyed by so many family & friends it was well worth it !
